My name is Tara Fitzpatrick and I am a freelance designer located in Mason City, Iowa. I graduated from Waldorf College in Forest City, Iowa with a BA in Communications and a Minor in Art. I have always had a passion for art, and exhausted the list of art classes offered at my high school. While at Waldorf, I discovered my love for graphic design, and embraced this love by becoming the editor of Waldorf's yearbook, The Warrior. During the two years I spent as editor, I designed, wrote, edited, and oversaw every aspect of the books production. I dealt with my staff not doing things right, and not handing things in on time. When I started as editor, the book was not very popular with the student body, but through hard work and dedication, I helped take the book into the digital age, and become something that students want to pick up and use. This year, The Warrior will be published in a digital format, with each student receiving a PDF version of the book, as well as a slideshow DVD of photos taken throughout the year. My education and my work experience has prepared me for whatever design projects you need done.
